Attracting bonsai enthusiasts to their nursery and retail outlets for their products is the major focus of this site. As a business site devoted to a hobby, we needed to design a website with an easy method for sharing growing information with the hobbyist.

We implemented a news section to make it easy to update the web site with information regarding the nursery's retail environment, outlets, fairs, talks and demonstrations, as well as identifying the current needs of bonsai growing in Maine.

The web site design included a section devoted to more permanent articles on growing bonsai in general. A FAQ section provides answers to questions they regularly receive and a gallery gives the business a place to showcase their stock as well highlights of special events.

Daily tips and rotating images of their products; a easy to navigate system; and a clean layout design that makes it easy to find relevant information round out this design. Should they decide to sell products directly through the site, there is a simple cart system already configured that will be easily implemented.
